Exceedingly wealthy human Bill Gates has reportedly invested in 25,000 acres of unpopulated Arizona desert with the intention of building a smart community. The desert town will be a technologically advanced hub with a planned population of around 182,000. There will be driverless cars, high-speed internet and, given Gates' philanthropic interests, likely a well funded public school system.
